Galesburg Community Foundation recently received National Standards re-accreditation from the National Council on Foundations.
Community Foundation National Standards establish legal, ethical, effective practices for community foundations everywhere.
Galesburg Community Foundation originally earned accreditation in 2010. Accreditation must be re-established every three years through a comprehensive assessment process, requiring community foundations to document their policies for donor services, investments, grantmaking, and administration, requiring the foundation to demonstrate compliance with 26 national standards.

This accreditation enhances our ability serve as trusted partners to our donors, strengthen our community, and deliver our mission with integrity and impact.”
