The Rev. Jon A. Sibley Sr. Fund at Galesburg Community Foundation was created to continue Rev. Sibley’s legacy and dedication to community service.
This fund is made possible thanks to generous community members who loved Rev. Sibley, his family and community. Thanks to the generous gifts made in Rev. Sibley’s honor, the following local programs have received support:
– Carl Sandburg College Emergency Crisis and Grant Program
Assisting students who have non-recurring emergency needs
– Knox County Drug Court
Alternative probation program for people with serious substance use
– Knox Prairie Community Kitchen Dinner
Sponsored community meal featuring Jonny’s favorite, fried chicken
– Salvation Army
Supported 2018 Angel Tree requests
