Galesburg Community Foundation’s Director of Communications, Karlie Elliott Bowman, announces her departure from the organization. Karlie will pursue her next professional opportunity as Account Manager for Hill+Knowlton Strategies, one of the world’s leading global communications companies, partnering with clients across more than 80 offices globally in more than 40 markets. Specifically, she will report to Galesburg native and resident, Janice Walters, who is a Vice President at H+K. Karlie will join the H+K team to further establish the U.S. Cotton Trust Protocol and communicate U.S. cotton’s sustainability credentials on a global scale.

Karlie’s last day with Galesburg Community Foundation is Tuesday, August 3.

During her time at the Community Foundation, Karlie shared her experiences and expertise to develop the organization’s brand and communicate the mission throughout Knox and Warren Counties.

As Director of Communications, Karlie, established the Foundation’s brand presence to ensure as many people and organizations as possible learned about the opportunities available through their Community Foundation. She was a champion of elevating the presence and expertise of nonprofit and Community Foundation communications locally and nationally.

While the Community Foundation is disappointed to share this news, they certainly look forward to continuing their relationship and partnership with Karlie in her new role at H+K. They extend their warmest wishes as she prepares for her next adventure.
