Galesburg Community Foundation is pleased to announce the 2018 grant cycle will open with a mandatory grant training on Thursday, June 21.
Nonprofits may attend either a noon or 4:30 pm offering of the session. The noon session will be held at The Orpheum Theatre, located at 57 S Kellogg St in Galesburg. The 4:30 session will be held at Galesburg Community Foundation, located at 246 E. Main Street, Suite 101 in Galesburg. The session will last one-hour.
Area 501(c)(3) nonprofits or public charities, including churches, schools, and government agencies serving Knox and Warren Counties are eligible to attend the training and apply for a grant. RSVPs are requested and can be made by calling the Community Foundation office at 309.344.8898 or visiting www.ahealthycommunity.org.

During this grant cycle nonprofits may apply for programmatic needs. GCF will review the requesting organization’s application for programs offered, financial stability and other key areas of operation. Applications will not be accepted for technology, new construction, renovation of buildings/structures, furnishings, equipment, vehicles or new staff positions.
